Promotions and changes in the staffing at Warren Willis and LEC created some housing changes . Billy and his family moved out of this home and Swain and Misty are moving in.
Billy moved just up the road to this house, with 7 children he needed a larger house.
Two of the bedrooms and a bathroom needed painted. Fran and I painted this room That little spot of yellow is all that needs to be painted and we have one room done. It was nice painting walls instead of ceilings.
Sylvia painted the other bedroom. She rolled on the paint
while Ralph cut in the edges.
While we were painting at Billy's new house the rest of our team was working at Swain's. Peter and Cheri removed the laminate flooring in the living room. It is now stacked and ready to be used elsewhere.
They also removed the vanities in the two bathrooms. All new flooring is going to be installed in this home next week.
Bummer built some shelves.
Dave installed some LED pod lights in the kitchen.
Larry installed a fan in the bedroom.
On Tuesday the whole team was working at Swain's. Peter and Cheri painted many doors and molding.
Three bedrooms to paint.
The living room had tall ceiling, Ralph needed the ladder.
Fran painted an accent wall.
Bummer painted some trim.
Carol was able to join us for a few hours and helped paint some trim.
Larry painted a hallway.
Dave took off the linoleum in the bathrooms.
Everyday we have been given lunch and Thursday evening we were also given a delicious dinner. Our team from left to right. Peter, Cheri, Fran, Ralph, Dave, Sylvia, Carol, Bummer, Dottie and Larry.
Thursday we painted both bathrooms. Fran and Ralph wasn't sure if one coat of paint would cover the dark pink in this bathroom.
The beige paint sure makes the bathroom look different. I was painting white trim so we put a coat around the mirror.
Sylvia spent the afternoon washing switch plates and anything that needed a bath.
The kitchen looking great.
Dave painting trim, then the door.
Near the end of the day Ralph, Sylvia, Bummer, Cheri and Peter wondering what else needs to be done.
By the end of the day the house was freshly painted and ready for the flooring to be installed next week. A project well done thanks to a lot of hard, talented workers.
