MADISON YOUTH RANCH

We left Clermont and came to Pinetta, FL to do a NOMADS site visit at Madison Youth Ranch, the northern facility for the Florida Children's Home.

This is the stable for Pinky, Sugar and Bee. Bee is the donkey peeking through the fence.
There are only three sites for hook ups at this time. We are parked at one with 50 amp but no sewer.

 Backing further down the lane
there is a 30 amp site with sewer. This building has the men and women's restrooms.
the other side of the building has three shower stalls and a washer and dryer. Mike and his wife were giving us a tour and explaining what facilities NOMADS would have available for a project.
The other site is by the stable with 30 amp and sewer, But you have to drive in the field through the pasture to get parked.
This is one of the two children cottages that have been built. A pool has also been put in right past this cottage.
Tomorrow construction starts on building a chapel, and

a counseling and support services center.
The maintenance shed had lots of heavy equipment.

A warehouse is to built here.
The plan for the future is to have six full RV sites along this fence line.  This is a great facility with lots of potential and NOMADS sure could give them a helping hand,  We look forward to this RV parking being put in.
