GREAT TEAM OF WORKERS

This week I was working at the house on 6th Street.
In the morning we had to take the plywood off this entrance so we would have light. And each evening we put it back on.
Cindy and I finished installing the insulation, while Larry and Tony got the ceiling and walls ready for drywall.
Cindy is a newer NOMAD and this is her first disaster project. She is learning lots of new task. She is using the glue gun so we can put  up the next piece of drywall on the ceiling.
We were sure glad we had that lift and Cindy got very good at putting it up and down.
The last piece of drywall on the ceiling for this room, Two more ceiling to go.
Larry cutting out the heating vent holes.
We gathered together on Monday for lunch at the house on 4th St.  This is the crew for the next three weeks. Dawn and Ron, Cindy, Dan, Larry and me.
 The next ceiling almost up.
Larry did a lot of screwing on the dry wall.
Cindy even got to work on cutting out a vent hole.
On Wednesday 4 people working with the Mennonite Disaster Service came and hung dry wall on the walls in two of the rooms.

Tony framing out the fireplace so we could cover it with the drywall.
Larry showing Cindy how to use the chop saw.

Notice the change in clothing, the weather turned cold on Thursday. Just in the upper 30's and no heat in the house.
We are almost finished hanging the drywall in this room by the end of the day on Thursday.
This week at the houses on 4th Street Dawn, Ron and Dan made the trim for the kitchen and hallway.
Darrell helped Dan lay the linoleum in the kitchen.
They were able to do it in one whole piece.
 The refrigerator was installed
and all the cabinets hung by the end of the week. It is ready for Kendra to move in!
